Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Murat Gür ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile game Sembolize (the "Game") and the website sembolize.com (the "Website").

1. Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal details to play the Game. However, the following information may be collected automatically:

• Device information: device model, operating system version, language, screen size, and general device settings.
• Advertising identifiers: such as the Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android or the IDFA on iOS. These are used by our advertising partner only. Our analytics does not use them: it identifies your installation with a random number generated the first time you open the Game, and does not read your advertising ID or any device identifier.
• Usage data: gameplay events such as levels played, session length, and in-game progress, used to improve the Game.
• Saved game data: if you sign in with Google Play Games on Android, or use iCloud on iOS, your progress — the levels you have solved, your coins and your remaining hints — is stored in your own Google or Apple account so that it can be restored after you reinstall the Game or change device. This file is kept in a private application area that only Sembolize can reach. We do not receive a copy of it, and the Game cannot see any other files in your account. Signing in is optional; without it your progress stays on the device only.
• Approximate location: a coarse, country/region-level location derived from your IP address, used for regional content and advertising compliance. We do not collect precise (GPS) location.

2. Third-Party Services

The Game may use the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob / Google Ads — advertising
• Google Play Services — platform services
• GameAnalytics — anonymous gameplay analytics
• Google Play Games Services — sign-in and saved games (Android)
• Apple App Store services and iCloud — platform services and saved games (iOS)

These partners may collect and process device identifiers and usage data as described in their own policies. Where required by law, you will be asked for consent (for example via a consent form shown in the Game) before personalized ads are served.

3. How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Game;
• To display advertising, which keeps the Game free to play;
• To measure performance and find problems in the Game;
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Advertising and Your Choices

Ads in the Game are served by third-party ad networks such as Google AdMob. You can limit personalized advertising at any time:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt shown when the Game first requests permission.
• Where a consent dialog is shown in the Game, you can decline it.

5. Children's Privacy

The Game is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where the Game is played by users in age groups covered by children's privacy laws (such as COPPA in the United States or the GDPR's provisions on minors), advertising is configured to be non-personalized as required. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep automatically collected data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the retention policies of the third-party providers listed in Section 2. Because the Game does not use accounts, uninstalling the Game stops all data collection and removes the progress stored on that device. If you chose to sign in for cloud saving, a copy of your progress stays in your own Google or Apple account; you can clear it with “Reset progress” in the Game’s settings before uninstalling, or from the saved-data settings of your Google or Apple account. 7. Your Rights (GDPR, KVKK, CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing. Residents of Türkiye have rights under Law No. 6698 (KVKK); residents of the EU/EEA under the GDPR; and California residents under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. 8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work with established providers (Google, Apple) that maintain industry-standard safeguards.

9. The Website

The Website is a static informational site. It does not use analytics and does not set cookies itself. Our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) may log IP addresses for security purposes. See our Cookies Policy for details.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at sembolize.com/privacy.html, with the "Last updated" date shown above.
